We should ask ourselves the question:

Do we live or just survive?

Count our blessings 'stead of assets.

Pursue a truly happy life. 

Five or seven out of seven.

Daily routine, ongoing strive.

Say our prayers to God in heaven 

to earn a so called … better life.

When in fact all that we do,

is merely lying to ourselves.

As the dreams we held so closely,

lie crumbling on some … dusty shelf.
